Why Self-Guided Biking

Whether a beginner or experienced cyclist, there’s a Self-Guided Biking trip for you. Ideal for those with an independent spirit, they’re perfect for travelers who enjoy exploring at their own pace. They take you far afield while letting you experience a locale up close, inviting you to blend an active adventure with a flexible schedule, peace of mind, and great value.

We provide top-notch bikes, panniers, comprehensive route notes, detailed maps, authentic accommodations, many meals, luggage transfers, and 24-hour local support. With this style of travel you are the architect of your own adventure—no group, no guide, and no set schedule mean maximum flexibility.

These trips offer a great way to cover lots of territory while staying close to the distinctive landscapes, local people, and notable sites you’ve come to expect from Country Walkers. Each itinerary is carefully crafted to incorporate a region’s most noteworthy highlights as well as its hidden gems. And, since each trip is rated for terrain and distance, it’s easy to find one that matches your level of ability and experience.
