The back-to-basics lifestyle in our home state has continually kept us on track and reaffirmed our efforts to walk the world responsibly, staying true to our core values.

As our primary exploration is on foot – we naturally control our environmental footprint and offer guests the opportunity to delve deeply into a region – off the beaten path.

With expert and professional local guides as our traveling companions, we not only make personal connections but, friends along the trail. With a strong emphasis on education, our guides are local naturalists and historians, (amongst other professions), and passionately share their land and cultures with our guests. They are quite simply the primary reason we set the pace in adventure travel.
We utilize locally owned and operated hotels whenever possible and search out environmentally and socially responsible hotels striving to create sustainable business through their efforts. Our tours highlight fresh organically grown foods at locally owned, authentic restaurants which promote traditional cuisine and culture.
